青苗26年，特别策划“Why BIBS(为什么选择青苗)”人物专访活动，邀请大家在自己的来路和去路间，回望选择与青苗并肩前行的那些故事。

从公立体制转型，本着两个目的，第一是寻找教育理念相同的同路人，第二是能有更大的学习空间，特别是对国际教育课程的学习。在寻找的过程中，我发现这两个目的在青苗是可以实现的。
在四年相识相知的过程，我深深的爱上了青苗。因为她始终坚持把教育的眼光放在更长远的未来，给予孩子选择的能力，让我们的孩子不仅要有卓越一生的实力，更有幸福一生的能力。
“青苗”，简单、纯粹而又满怀希望的美好，我很愿意继续融入这纯粹的氛围中，与伙伴们共同创造青苗教育的美好未来。

BIBS is a community of like-minded individuals with similar values that choose to share their commitment and belief in high quality education fused from the best of Eastern and Western education philosophies, educational trends and mindsets. Engaging in such a community of like-minded individuals is a rewarding pursuit of personal and professional excellence. My passion lies in helping students find the best path for themselves. It is through serving with love, care, and support that students aspire to be better, and to help other to be better too.
Beyond its mission statement, I am particularly impressed by the school’s 26 years of focus in doing quality education spanning from kindergarten to High School. This dedication and commitment to pursuing excellence and happiness throughout life from sprout to shoot in all BIBS students is truly inspirational and has manifest in many of our programmes such as project-based learning, service learning, gifted programme, differentiated instructions, after school activities and more. 在北京顶尖公立学校从教几十年，接触的都是成绩拔尖的学生。我一直在思考，对于那些不那么拔尖的学生，我们是否为他们提供了真正好的教育，让他们有充分发掘潜力，获得成功的机会?
我曾给常营校区普高部的学生做过问卷调查：为什么选择青苗读高中?大多数学生最看重的是国内外一流的师资与先进的教育理念，其次是学校能够为每个人提供众多的机会，最后是因为去不了排位更高的公立校。
青苗在教育上更加人性化、个性化和有针对性，能关注到每个孩子的不同特点和需求。无论已经很优秀的孩子，还是暂时不那么优秀的孩子都能获得充分的支持和指导，成为更好的自己。这也应该是每一位教育者的目标和追求。
