燎原双语学校小学部摄影探究单元展 | 用镜头语言“诠释”成长
如何用镜头表达情感与故事?如何让艺术改变看世界的角度?小学部三年级学生在“我们如何表达自己”这一主题下的探究单元“诠释”中找到了属于自己的答案。本次摄影展是他们对“表达改变视角”这一中心思想的生动回应。通过摄影、绘画、表演与文字反思,孩子们展示了观察力、创造力与跨学科理解的融合,也让我们看到表达如何真正塑造视角、连接人心。
三年级摄影展 | 单元四:诠释
作为“我们如何表达自己”这一主题下的探究单元“诠释”的一部分,燎原双语小学部三年级的学生通过一场充满活力与启发的摄影展,将他们的学习生动地呈现出来。
在“表达改变视角”这一中心思想的引导下,学生们探索了创造力如何以强有力的方式传达想法、情感和故事。
Grade 3 Photography Exhibition | Unit 4: Interpretation
Our Grade 3 students recently brought their learning to life through a vibrant and inspiring Photography Exhibition, as part of their Unit of Inquiry Interpretation under the theme How We Express Ourselves.
Guided by the central idea, “Expression transforms perspectives,” students explored how creativity can communicate ideas, emotions, and stories in powerful ways.
透过新视角看世界
学生们捕捉并策展了自己的摄影作品,精心将其分类为自然、庆典、色彩、建筑、文化、光与影、形状等主题。通过这个过程,他们学会了更仔细地观察世界,并理解了不同的视角如何改变意义。
Seeing the world through a new lens
Students captured and curated their own photographs, thoughtfully organizing them into categories such as Nature, Celebration, Colours, Architecture, Culture, Light & Shadows, and Shapes. Through this process, they learned to observe the world more carefully and understand how different perspectives can change meaning.
创造力与结构的交汇
除了摄影,学生们还探索了艺术的规则,根据真实图像重新创作绘画作品。这帮助他们认识到,艺术表达不仅富有想象力,而且是有意为之——由构图、平衡、焦点等技巧所引导。
Where creativity meets structure
Beyond photography, students explored the rules of art, recreating drawings inspired by real-life images. This helped them recognize that artistic expression is not only imaginative, but also intentional; guided by techniques such as composition, balance, and focus.

展览还呈现了丰富多样的现场表演,包括戏剧、班级合唱、器乐演奏和舞蹈。每个班级都在舞台上带来了独特的展示,自信地以不同的艺术形式表达想法,展现了他们理解的深度。
Expression beyond the camera
The exhibition also featured a variety of live performances, including drama, class singing, instrumental pieces, and dance. Each class brought something unique to the stage, confidently expressing ideas in different artistic forms and demonstrating the depth of their understanding.

每张照片都附有一篇文字说明,让学生分享自己的思考、选择和创作意图。这些反思突显了他们作为交流者和思考者的成长,以及跨学科连接想法的能力。
Student voice at the center
Each photograph was accompanied by a written explanation, allowing students to share their thinking, choices, and creative intentions. This reflection highlighted their growth as communicators and thinkers, as well as their ability to connect ideas across disciplines.

A truly transdisciplinary experience
As an Arts-focused unit, this exhibition was a strong example of IB transdisciplinary learning, with teachers collaborating across subjects to support meaningful connections between visual art, music, drama, and language.

A celebration of creativity and growth
The exhibition welcomed students, teachers, and parents, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere. It was inspiring to see students take pride in their work and confidently share their learning journey.
我们为三年级学生的创造力、努力和热情感到无比骄傲。这次经历不仅增强了他们的艺术技能,也加深了他们的理解:表达拥有塑造视角、将我们与他人相连的力量。

UOI超学科探究课,依据六大主题,分别是:我们是谁、我们如何组织自己、世界如何运作、我们身处什么时空、共享地球以及我们如何表达自己,来开展跨学科的项目式学习,运用习得的知识结合超学科技能开展探究。
每个探究主题一般会进行5-6周,从导入—发现—梳理—延伸—反思—采取行动,从而完成整个探究单元。小学1-5年级的探究课程都围绕这六大主题展开,双语班为中文授课,融合班为英文授课,同时随着年级升高,难度变大。
围绕六大主题,孩子们会在老师的带领下,探索例如职业、植物、建筑、重力、摄影、艺术、旅行、发明、历史等各式各样细分的领域;并着重帮助学生理解抽象的知识概念并转化为实际应用,增强他们解决实际问题的能力,收获技能。
