秋风一吹，华外的校园里就多了一件值得期待的事。
10月17日星期六上午，华外2026年传统文化主题校园活动「秋日里的薪火」来了。不是坐在台下听讲，而是在摊位间走一走、玩一玩、试一试，把传统文化变成一上午的校园生活。

它不是一场简单的游园，而是一次文化体验。
孩子会在传统文化主题互动游戏摊位中，让传统可玩、可感、可亲近;在集章兑换华外文创礼品的过程中，每一次印章落下，都是行走的注脚，也是文化记忆的回声。
At interactive traditional culture game booths, children make tradition playable, tangible, and approachable. While collecting stamps for HW cultural gifts, each stamp marks a step and echoes cultural memory.
孩子会在体验中理解中华文化，在互动中建立文化自信，在亲子共游中把传承变成家庭记忆。这正是本次活动的教育意义：让传统走进当下，让传承成为孩子成长的一部分。
They understand Chinese culture through experience, build cultural confidence through interaction, and turn inheritance into family memory through parent-child visits. This is the educational purpose: bring tradition into the present and make inheritance part of children’s growth.

Here, learning goes beyond the classroom and growth beyond textbooks. Traditional culture education is a core part of HW’s education. Through festivals, clubs, courses, and events, students encounter, understand, and pass on tradition in daily life. “Embers in Autumn” is a showcase of this.
薪火，是薪火相传。不是陈列在玻璃柜里的旧梦，而是一双手递给另一双手的温度。一代接着一代，把中华优秀传统文化接棒、继承。
The torch means inheritance—not an old dream in a glass case, but warmth passed from hand to hand, generation to generation, carrying on traditional Chinese culture.
薪火，也谐音“星火”。星星之火，可以燎原。哪怕只是一粒微光，只要有人愿意接住，它就能照亮更远的地方。
It also suggests “spark.” A single spark can start a prairie fire. Even a small light, if passed on, can shine farther.
秋日，是应季的相逢，也是对“时刻”的回应。华外年度主题“时刻做好自己”——做好一名中华传统文化的传承者，正是“做好自己”的一部分。传承不只在秋日，但秋日里的薪火，会把这一刻照得格外清晰。
Autumn is both a seasonal meeting and a response to the moment. HW’s annual theme is “Be Your Best at Every Moment”; being a bearer of traditional Chinese culture is part of it. Inheritance is not only in autumn, but autumn embers make this moment clearer.
