9月11日下午，华外举行教师节表彰大会。掌声一次次响起，为平凡岁月里的不凡坚守喝彩。
The school held a Teachers’ Day awards ceremony. Applause rose again and again for extraordinary commitment in ordinary years.
华外校长秦金华为大会致辞，教育不是轰轰烈烈，而是无数琐碎温暖瞬间的连缀。对得起学生，是最纯粹的初心;对得起良心，是最厚重的担当。学校永远是大家最坚实的后盾，要让踏实做事的人被尊重，让潜心育人的人有收获。只有老师被温暖，学生才能被照亮;只有老师有尊严，教育才能真正有力量。
Principal Qin Jinhua addressed the ceremony: Education is not grand but small, warm moments. To be worthy of students is our purest purpose; to be worthy of conscience, our heaviest duty. The school will always back you. Respect steady workers; reward devoted teachers. Only warmed teachers can light students; only dignified teachers can strengthen education.
优秀教师代表殷雨萱表示，教育里，很多事情不是靠一个人做得更用力，而是靠一群人，彼此接住。求助不是软弱，而是一种智慧;有限，并不等于无用。做好自己，不是变成无所不能的人，而是知道自己能做什么，也知道什么时候需要别人。好的教育，不需要一群永远燃烧的老师，而需要一群知道怎样让自己长久发光的人。教师节，也记得把自己放进那张需要被关心的名单里。
HW teacher Yin Yuxuan: Education is not one person trying harder, but a group holding each other up. Asking for help is wisdom, not weakness; limited does not mean useless. To be your best self is to know what you can do and when you need others. Good education needs teachers who shine long, not burn forever. On Teachers’ Day, put yourself on the care list.
表彰大会上，学校为一批优秀班主任、优秀教师、优秀生活指导老师颁发荣誉。证书映着笑脸，也映着多年如一日的耕耘。荣誉是注脚，不是全部。真正的勋章，是学生多年后仍记得的那句话，是校园里生生不息的成长。

学生代表把亲手写的贺卡、精心准备的鲜花送到老师手中。
“老师，谢谢您”“您辛苦了”“遇见您真好”……稚嫩的字迹，是最真诚的告白;一束花、一张卡、一个拥抱，让不少老师红了眼眶。
教育，是一场爱与被爱的双向奔赴。你们守护学生长大，学生也把最纯真的敬意，回赠给您。
Student representatives gave teachers handwritten cards and flowers. “Thank you, teacher.” “You’ve worked hard.” “So glad to meet you.” Childlike handwriting is the sincerest confession; a flower, a card, a hug brought many teachers to tears.
Education is a two-way journey of love and being loved. You protect students as they grow; they return the purest respect.
