HONORS 特等奖!祝贺华外学子斩获英语“爱阅读•有创意”活动双特等奖
近日，在广州市黄埔区教育研究院主办的第十届“爱阅读•有创意”英语读书写作活动中，华外CEP双语部小学六年级学生凭借两项创意作品《The Wizard of Oz and Alice》与《The Little Prince》续编，从全区优秀作品中脱颖而出，双双荣获区级特等奖!这是我校践行“以阅读赋能成长”教育理念的生动实践，充分展现了学子卓越的英语素养与创新精神。Recently, at the 10th “Love Reading • Be Creative” English Reading and Writing Contest organized by the Huangpu District Education Research Institute in Guangzhou, sixth-grade students from HW CEP Primary departments secured two district-level top awards with their innovative works:The Little Prince sequel and The Wizard of Oz and Alice. This achievement underscores HW’s educational philosophy of “empowering growth through reading” and highlights students’ exceptional English proficiency and creativity.
两个读书小组由跨班级成员自主组建磨。从深度阅读原著、头脑风暴创意，到分工撰写、反复修订，甚至利用课余时间手绘插画，每个环节都凝聚着团队的汗水。此次特等奖的荣耀，是华外学子用智慧与热情浇灌出的硕果，我们为孩子们的卓越表现喝彩，为他们在经典中寻新意、在协作中炼真知的精神深感自豪!The cross-class teams independently formed, delving into original work, brainstorming ideas, drafting, revising, and even hand-drawing illustrations after school. Their dedication and teamwork exemplify the power of “reading and creation.”
荣誉是起点，而非终点。学校将继续深耕英语教育创新，打造更多“阅读+创作”的实践平台，让经典与时代对话，让思维与艺术交融。This accolade marks both a milestone and a motivator. HW will continue advancing English education innovation, building platforms where classics meet modernity, and creativity bridges thinking with art.
