大家好，我是来自合肥协和双语学校初中部9年级的周子辰。在协和的学习时光里，我不只专注课本知识的学习，也愿意走出课堂，把握每一个可以锻炼自我的机会。Hello everyone, I’m Ryan Zhou from S9 in the Secondary School at SUIS Hefei Campus. During my time at SUIS-HF, I have not only focused on learning the material in my textbooks, but have also been keen to step outside the classroom and make the most of every opportunity to develop myself.

Outside the classroom, there is a vibrant array of extracurricular activities: hosting events, sporting competitions, science projects and language contests take place in quick succession. The school provides every pupil with a platform to showcase their talents; whatever their interests or strengths, everyone can find an opportunity to shine here.
我所在的班级，班主任梅老师为每个人都安排了不同的职位，每一个同学都可以为班级出一分力。我也竞选上了化学课代表这职位。在这样的一个班集体当中，每个人都各司其职，班级也变得井井有条。同学们拧成一股绳，同心协力，创造一个更好的学习氛围，为大家美好的未来而奋斗。在协和的班级，还有积分制度，不仅上课回答问题可以获得积分，为班级出力也能拿到积分，而且还可以用所得积分来兑换一些特权，同学们一个个斗志昂扬，上课积极回答问题，下课努力为班级出力。即使积分最后一名也不会担心受到惩罚，而是在班会课上被老师和同学们鼓励。身在这样一个积极有爱的班集体中，我的初中学习生活松弛有度，不仅收获了学习上的进步，也锻炼了我的各项做事能力。In my class, our class teacher, Ms. Mei, has assigned different roles to each of us, so that every pupil can contribute to the class. I was also elected as the chemistry representative. In a class like this, everyone fulfils their respective duties, and the class runs very smoothly. The pupils pull together as one, working in unison to create a better learning atmosphere and striving for a bright future for everyone. In our class at SUIS-HF, there is also a points system: not only can pupils earn points by answering questions in class, but they can also earn points by contributing to the class, and these points can be exchanged for certain privileges. As a result, the pupils are all highly motivated; they actively answer questions during lessons and work hard for the class during break times. Even the pupil with the fewest points need not worry about being penalised; instead, they are encouraged by the teacher and their classmates during form time. Being part of such a positive and caring class, my secondary school life has struck a good balance between relaxation and discipline. Not only have I made academic progress, but I have also honed my practical skills in various areas.
这里的师生相处真诚融洽，老师们愿意倾听我们的想法，在学业上循循善诱，也十分支持我们发展个人爱好。同学之间彼此尊重、互帮互助，氛围和睦友善。我们既能沉下心钻研学术，也能涵养人文素养，每个人都可以循着自己的节奏，慢慢成为更好的自己。协和的老师们不仅注重知识的吸收，更在意对知识内在的理解和各种能力的培养，语文课堂上老师经常开展小组朗读活动和情景表演。在这过程中，我不仅加深了对课文的理解，领会了诗文朗读的要点，也在小组表演中学会了团队协作。The relationships between teachers and pupils here are sincere and harmonious; the teachers are willing to listen to our ideas, guide us patiently in our studies, and are very supportive of our personal interests. Pupils respect and help one another, creating a harmonious and friendly atmosphere. We are able to immerse ourselves in our studies whilst also cultivating our humanistic qualities; everyone can progress at their own pace, gradually becoming the best version of themselves. The teachers at Xiehe not only emphasise the acquisition of knowledge but also place great importance on a deeper understanding of that knowledge and the cultivation of various skills. In Chinese lessons, teachers frequently organise group reading activities and role-play exercises. Through these activities, I have not only deepened my understanding of the texts and grasped the key points of reciting poetry and prose, but I have also learnt the value of teamwork through group performances.
多姿多彩的课后拓展课程，更是校园生活里浓墨重彩的一笔。除了校队开设的游泳、球类项目，还有同学们自主创办的羽毛球社团、棋艺社团，为我们的课余生活提供了丰富选择。课堂之外的实践与探索，丰盈了我的校园生活，也塑造出更加自信、从容的我。The diverse range of extracurricular activities is a real highlight of campus life. In addition to the swimming and ball sports offered by the school teams, there are also badminton and chess clubs set up by the students themselves, providing a wealth of options for our leisure time. The practical experiences and explorations outside the classroom have enriched my school life and helped shape me into a more confident and composed person.

Class Teacher, Ms. Mei第一次去家访的时候就对这个孩子印象很深刻，话不多还有点腼腆，家里养了很多小宠物，有鱼、乌龟，昆虫，还有蜥蜴，最大的爱好是去家门口的小河边捞鱼。后来进入我的班级，我还发现这个男孩子细心认真、有责任有担当有正义感，总是会默默照顾班级的绿植角。每每看到他我都觉得我在培养未来的生物学家。进入协和两年，由开始的腼腆内向到现在可以在台上侃侃而谈，不仅收获了成绩上的进步，还有身为班干做事能力的提升，愿你继续保持对世界的好奇与热爱，在探索中不断成长!I was struck by this child the very first time I visited his home. He was rather quiet and a bit shy. His family kept lots of small pets, including fish, turtles, insects and lizards, and his greatest hobby was catching fish in the little stream by his front door. Later, when he joined my class, I also discovered that this boy is thoughtful and conscientious, with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment and justice; he always quietly looks after the class’s plant corner. Whenever I see him, I feel as though I am nurturing a future biologist. In the two years since joining Xiehe, he has transformed from being shy and introverted to speaking confidently on stage. Not only has he made academic progress, but he has also developed his organisational skills as a class representative. I hope you continue to maintain your curiosity and passion for the world, and keep growing through exploration!
数学韩老师
Mathematics Teacher, Mr. Han周子辰同学在初中的学习生涯中，始终秉持严谨踏实的求学态度，凭借持之以恒的努力斩获优异的学业成果。在校期间，他自律上进、勤学善思，自主预习钻研新知，积极对接老师答疑解惑，展现出极强的自律能力与学习韧性。日常学习中，他乐于互助、热忱友善，主动耐心为同学梳理解题方法、拆解重难点，用心带动班级互助学习氛围，是老师最得力的工作助手，也是同学们心中靠谱优秀的榜样伙伴。Throughout his secondary school career, Ryan Zhou has consistently maintained a rigorous and diligent approach to his studies, achieving outstanding academic results through his persistent efforts. During his time at school, he has demonstrated self-discipline and a drive to excel; he is studious and reflective, taking the initiative to prepare for lessons and explore new concepts, whilst actively seeking guidance from teachers to clarify any doubts, thereby showcasing exceptional self-discipline and academic resilience. In his day-to-day studies, he is eager to help others and is warm and friendly. He takes the initiative to patiently explain problem-solving methods to his classmates and break down key challenges, working diligently to foster a collaborative learning atmosphere within the class. He is the teacher’s most capable assistant and is regarded by his classmates as a reliable and exemplary peer.

Chemistry Teacher, Ms. Zhou在我们的班级里，有这样一位同学，热爱科学、全面发展，用自律与热心感染着身边每一个人，他就是周子辰。咱们班的化学课代表周子辰，是大家公认的“化学小达人”!他怀揣着对化学满满的好奇心，课堂紧跟授课节奏，积极思考发言;走进实验室时从容自信，每一步操作严谨规范，细心捕捉奇妙的实验现象，实验成果十分出彩。更难得的是，他不只化学突出，各科成绩同样优异。周子辰自律上进，一直保持饱满的学习状态。身为课代表，他课前主动协助老师清点调试实验器材;当同学遇到学习难题，总能耐心分享思路、答疑解惑。这份爱钻研、肯奉献的品质，让他成为同学们身边闪闪发光的好榜样!In our class, there is a pupil who is passionate about science and well-rounded, inspiring everyone around him with his self-discipline and enthusiasm—his name is Ryan Zhou. Ryan Zhou, our class representative for chemistry, is universally recognised as a ‘little chemistry whizz’! Filled with a keen curiosity about chemistry, he keeps pace with the lesson in class, thinks actively and contributes to discussions; in the laboratory, he is composed and confident, carrying out each step of the procedure with rigour and precision, carefully observing the fascinating experimental phenomena, and achieving outstanding results. What is even more remarkable is that he excels not only in chemistry but also in all other subjects. Ryan Zhou is self-disciplined and ambitious, consistently maintaining a high level of engagement with his studies. As class representative, he takes the initiative to assist the teacher in checking and preparing laboratory equipment before lessons; when classmates encounter difficulties with their studies, he is always patient in sharing his thought processes and clarifying their queries. This dedication to learning and his willingness to help others make him a shining example to his classmates!
